The Material Coordinator will be required to receive, stow, and issue materials to the
subordinate commands while using the AMS-TAC system to effectively manage the stowage
of incoming and outgoing materials transiting through the transit shed (Tshed). Ensures
materials are in proper location and conducts research of misplaced or misclassified materials.
The Material Coordinator will deliver and receive materials to and from customers and deliver
parts. Also, will prepare and provide naval messages listing pending DLR receipts from
assigned units and will oversee shipping materials. The Material Coordinator will collect and
analyzes data on current orders, production level and forecast to estimate future demand for
materials. Operate a forklift, vehicle, and other tools and equipment in warehouse operations.
Maintain open lines of communication in a manner that maintains a safe work environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Mandatory Skills Requirements:
5 years relevant warehouse experience. Proficient with Microsoft Suite products including
Word, Excel, and Outlook software. Inventory Control Knowledge. Demonstrate a good attitude
and ability to work as a member of a team. Excellent customer service communication skills.
